Darwin's Genesis is a concert overture for brass band by James McFadyen. Although not meant as a descriptive piece, the title infers the Genesis of life through the work of Darwin, as proposed in his ground-breaking book, On the Origin of Species.
In addition to the growing fossil record, DNA and geographical distribution of species have been the amongst some of the most significant evidence to the theory of evolution.
