Written in response to the Iraq conflict in 2003, James McFadyen has taken the popular tune Old Hundredth to make this piece a dedication to the victims.

The iconic melody is shrouded in a mosaic of harmony, creating an intense melodious sound world. Being an elegy, the tone is sad throughout but the big homogenous sound feels welcoming and warm.
