Mood Music for Piccadilly Gardens is written for brass quartet with backing track composed and produced by James McFadyen. Scored for Bb Cornet, Eb Tenor Horn, Baritone (T.C.) and Euphonium (T.C.), the set comes with a full score, set of parts and the backing track on an audio CD.
Piccadilly Gardens is located in Manchester City Center and is a focal point of the city. Famously, the gardens contain a water fountain, and it is this fountain that the composer has imagined a brass quartet playing chilled house music on a summers evening around the fountain.
