Using our old-skool sampling technology, Lexicon hardware reverb and other hardware toys, we can create a 'slowed & reverb' mix of your song.
Slowed & Reverb mixes are very popular right now, so it's a great time to showcase your work in a slightly more sedated way.
Our process focuses on creating a highly musical and coloured mix which involves sampling and processing. We don't use any computer plugins at all, giving your mix a rather warm and delicious quality.
We use an AKAI S3000XL stereo sampler, noted for its distinct sound and warm character; our sampling process is quite particular! It involves sampling your song in mono and producing the end result in stereo by treating the mono paths individually. This gives you the impression of stereo, and works particularly well for slowed & reverb mixes. As far as we know, we're the only ones doing this little trick!
Other processing involves the choice of analog and/or digital EQ (both on hardware), valve compression courtesy of a TLA Fat 1, and reverb applied using a Lexicon hardware unit.
Don't worry, you don't have to do a thing, let us have your song, and we'll add the musical and technical juices for you!
