Cuthbert Howard

Cuthbert Howard was a composer, who was born in 1856 in Manchester in England. Not much is known about his life, although he was an organist for a number of years in Wesleyan Chapel in Collyhurst in his native Manchester. He died on the 26th May 1927 in Manchester.

A notable piece of Howard’s is Lloyd, which was skilfully arranged for brass band in 2006 by composer and arranger James McFadyen.
